This will be explained in the notes.Ī quick note on updating water shaders, as we update various portions of the game's technology, we update other things. This ties into the Recycler, as it requires the parts to be heated back up before being 'melted' into ingots. Some players used this as a sign of the weapon being done, but this won't be viable after this update, as we allow completed weapons to heat up again. Once they've been hammered completely, however, they would stop heating. In case you're new reading this, forging weapons can be heated in the forge and glow. The Recycler made us revisit how heated blades/tools work. Whilst this may mean that ready-to-craft tools and weapons for the community will reduce, there are more plans in the future that can bring back this feeling of community sharing. ![]() But we decided to bring in recycling as a way to mitigate the cost of experimentation, and give both new and experienced players some more value of their resources. We've seen that a lot of people have been mass producing weapons and tools to level up, and it was cool to see stocks of ready-to-craft weapons around town. In this update, we finally bring about the ability to decraft items, and recycle smelted items!
